[I 'finished' coloring this picture a while back, but never posted it because I....well, I thought it sucked. I didn't put enough effort into the background or foreground to make it look good. So I let it languish in my gallery for a while. But, since I've never felt the urge to go back and try to fix it, there's really no point in not posting it as it is.]

So, in a previous drawing or two, I've extablished that some Dust Drakes use thier sandblast-breath to carve rocks into statues. Well, here's another of those Dust Drakes: She uses her breath to carve self-portraits of herself, and then leaves those self-portraits as markers whenever she abducts someone! The markers serve several purposes. They remind her of where the peasant came from when it comes time to return him, they remind the peasant of thier time together after the peasant is returned, and lastly, they let the peasant's family know exactly why the man of the farm won't be coming home that night!

....Because there are many other, more serious reasons that a man may dissapear from the contryside, and the Dust Drake wouldn't want the family of her boy-toy to worry unneccisarrily....
