Description "Well, aren't you the affectionate little one!"

The idea of a dragon abducting a princess is a very old and well-established trope. But why limit the trope to fair maidens? Surely there are dragons--or dragon like creatures--who would prefer the company of someone other than spoiled rich girls...

Like this here Fire-Drake! Who prefers the company of peasant boys. Preferably, peasant boys who's fear of heights and flying overwhelms thier fear of giant fire breathing monsters.

This is awesome. I really think it's cute she's trying to scare him on her bicep

Well, if you don't have stereotypes, you don't have a starting point to put a twist on.

I think the whole feeding young maidens to dragons is a plot to fatten them up. (That is why I am on a no maiden diet.)

Feeding? Tut tut... There are so many better things to do with a young maiden....

Drakes have a....different moral code. One not entirely compadible with ours.

*shrug* True, but DA Admin have a much stricter moral code.

Well he seems to be clinging on fairly tightly. Your comment reminds me of a rather comedic seen in Jade Empire though, quote "Your physique is exceptional clearly you're a peasant. A noble could afford sloth." I guess she likes the young men who work in the fields building up a sweat each day and toning up.

Once she's done with them does she return them to their home though or do they have to walk back on their own?

Hm I bet that could be used as a motivator actually. A good performance gets a ride home. Oh but dang this would suck if he had something like a pot of stew on the stove and the fire got out of control while he was gone.

Indeed! Draks need 'friends' with stamina and some real endurance...

I'm thinking most Drakes would eventually give their frineds a ride home. Because their lair would probably be on some mountaintop that's impossible to get to, and thus darned near impossible to leave. So unless they want thier freind dying or hanging around forever....

The incentive would be the condition they are returned in, and if they get to bring anything home for their toubles. Like a side of venison or a pile of fur pelts that the Drake had just lying around....

Hehe, I like her. Nice sultry expression and I love the way she's holding yon human with her arm. I'd be interested to see his reaction should she decide to flex her bicep.

Nice picture, but I think the reason why you here about the spoiled rich girls more is because no one in power cared that much about peasants.

Very nice follow up to the previous piece. Given hot hot-blooded fire-drakes are, things are likely to get steamy fast. The poor guy's toast.

Steamy sounds like an apt description! Maybe her lair can be one of those caves with a subterranian pool.

As for the peasant's fate, he'll be roughed up for sure, but I'd like to think that this lady is smart enough to avoid needlessly angering the local militia... If he reappears in the next week or so--just a little worse for wear--then nobody can justify the effort of trying to drive her from the land...

TFB71 In reply to TriffRaff [2010-02-23 02:01:47 +0000 UTC]

True. And depending on her knowledge of plumbing, they may even hire her to rig up their central water.
