I imagine the report duty is given to whichever amazon is in the least graces of the tribe. I can see this turning really ugly really fast if the wife has any combat training or physical talent.

Notification duty varies probably varies from tribe to tribe. If it exists at all... In this case, I'm imagining it falling to the companion of the Amazon who is, uh, the instigator...
