Description "Mission Log Update: As I feared, the cabin has now depressurized to below safe limits, and I've been forced to take refuge in the pressure suit. It is likely I'll have to remain in the suit until help arrives in three days. Fortunately, the suit was designed for long-term use, and I'm well stocked with air recharges, nuitrient stock, and all the heating power I'll need to make it through.

I still haven't been able to isolate the source of the depressurization, though I have been able to rule out certain possibilities. I'd like to have a report ready by the time I'm rescued, but it's looking like that may not happen...

...On a personal note, I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable sharing the pressure suit with the engine rat. The ship's maintenance tubes have also depressurized, so letting him in was certainly the right thing to do. He's not being a drain on the supplies, and he's doing his best not to be intrusive. He doesn't always succeed, but... He's quite the industrious little fellow. And...Kind of cute. I had never noticed that before...."

As the above caption hopefully implied, its a random space-giantess sharing her space suit with a little earthling that helps run her scout-ship. A stilly little scenerio, I know, but kind of fun to draw...

I had a similar concept in mind for one of my story idea.

You know those missions where the soldiers need to drag civilian scientist/engineer along to do some technical stuff at the mission objective ? A civilian who doesn't seem to know the first thing about movement in a battle zone and threaten to have a nervous breakdown whenever things gets hot ?

Now what if that civilian was small enough to fit into a small isolated armoured pouch of your battle suit ? The civilian would feel much safer, but most importantly he or she wouldn't be such a burden on the battle field any more.

Win win scenario.

That would indeed make for an interesting story/set-up... Practical, with lots of oportunities for fun off the battlefield!

This is the perfect solution to that dreaded nose itch that invariably comes around any time you can't reach your face to scratch.

Interesting idea.

Strangely enough one of my first thoughts was Vian and a Human from Legacy could end up in this situation.
