Well, this gallery of mine has survived its second year, so now is a good time to look back at all the drawings that didn't quite make it into the gallery. At scenes that were never completed, at sketches that were never cleaned up and finished, at drawing that for whatever reason just weren't posted... At all the drawings from the past year that aren't worth your full attention, but may still worth at least a passing glance.Back when I did my profile for the Drow of Vistallah, I mentioned that I had trouble finding the theme and the 'look' for the Drow. Well, here are attempts....probably number two and three at finding the proper 'look'.
...In retrospect, I still rather like the maiden from attempt number two...

The 2nd one from the left doesn't look too bad. Those arrows sticking form a quiver on her back?

Arrows from a quiver, yes. And her hands are sort of adjusting the quiver strap. At one point, Drow women were supposed to be somewhat combat-oriented, for self defence of auxillary roles, but that idea went by the wayside sometime after these sketches...
