Well, this gallery of mine has survived its second year, so now is a good time to look back at all the drawings that didn't quite make it into the gallery. At scenes that were never completed, at sketches that were never cleaned up and finished, at drawing that for whatever reason just weren't posted... At all the drawings from the past year that aren't worth your full attention, but may still worth at least a passing glance.....Just a sequence of sketches of girls in quasi-military outfits. Drawn for reason that have yet to lead anywhere...
...Just for fun, can you find the girl with something fun in her holster? And can tell which girl has a head that was sketched separately and then pasted on in photoshop?

They look like they'd make a decent squad of some sort - base patrol unit, perhaps.

Hm. So these quasi-military gals are MPs, then, rather than infantry? The weapon given several of them fits law enforcement officials more closely than soldiers.
Unless of course that's some sort of gun.

'MPs' is a good description. The setting dictated that they be more akin to security forces than active combat forces...

I think that the one with pasted head is the second from the left. The one with something fun is obviously the only one with a holster (4th one from the left).

Heh. I guess it is obvious when you put it that way. But I figured if people weren't looking for something, it would be pretty easy to pass over that entirely.
...You're wrong on the photoshoping one, though. Which does make me feel a little better about my collaging abilities...

The first one maybe ? Would explain why her hair vanish around her hand.

Which one is it ? I really can't tell. I chose the 2nd one because it was the only one with discontinued lines. But now I'm very curious.

Actually, it's the one on the far right. I couldn't get the head to fit on the neck right, and I still feel it looks a little wrong...

I suspected that one for a while. But in the end others seemed more suspicious. I'm my opinion you did a good job. What would be the big "give way" according to you ? What look so wrong that makes you doubt your pasting skills ?

Its the way the chin sits in relation to the neck. If her head is looking that far to the side, it seems like the chin should project away from the neck, rather than still being in the center like that...

I dunno man. Her torso is slightly turned the other way making this more natural. But you obviously know best (I can't draw).
