The basic idea was that a vaugely-worded curse caused her to be hatched in such a way that she didn't really 'eat', but rather lived off of magic. Whatever one side swallowed, the other side would spit up a few days later--drained of magic, but otherwise unharmed. T'was an odd character concept, and thus a rarely drawn one...
