Description
Heres a string simulation that I made using inverse kinematics (its not as complicated as it sounds). Its got interactive gravity, colour, alpha, thickness and length. Tell me what you think. To make this, I just worked out where each point (if you put the third number selector to 50, you'll see what I mean by point) should be if it has to be a certain distance away from the last point in any direction. The basic key to this way of this flash is trigonometry, and some logic.
To see more stuff like this by me, look at my website .

All of the slide bars up all the way except blue. Then put these in the settings:

That's pretty good... if you would like a challenge, make it so you can 'whip' it around. Take a look at the one I made. It's not pure inverse kinematics... but it that and a bit more:

It doesn't really have that natural swing to it. It just kinda falls and ends up perfectly straight.
But its really good and probably WAY better than anything I could ever do

The reason why I havent added momentum is because its very hard. At the moment the code just makes all of the rungs in the rope goes down rather than making it remember how fast and in what direction to go in.

Hahah, yeah I know how that goes. Coding can be a pain in the ass sometimes
