Description The Trigger Happy Nightmare Radio Show #3
One Hell of a Weekend

Welcome to 33.3 FM, station of the guns blazin', seriously elated, Trigger Happy.  AKA – Your worst Nightmare.

Wooooooo…

Well… I just got back to Poison Kiss's.  Saturday was fun as hell.  I've been waiting for his broadcast for quite some time.  Boy, do I have a lot to share.  It's been awhile since I've had quite as good of an adventure as I had this past weekend.  It reminds me of the good old days me and Remembrance had and that really lifts my spirits even if he's…

Well…

Anyways, Saturday was f'in awesome!  Earlier that week we'd reached Poison Kiss.  We'd been in contact for some time and it was great to finally meet her in person.  Seeing another Killjoy with such a drive to fight and make things right really does lift my spirits.  It kind of sucked seeing her bed ridden though.  She asked if I could go get some medical supplies for her and of course I obliged.  Plus, it'd get me away from Twenty-Seven CAP for awhile, she was really beginning to get on my nerves.

So I went out into Zone 4 ready to go Drac huntin'.  Walking alone for awhile, blasting my music, without having to worry about my sister was great.  She was in Poison's hands and I trust her.  Plus, CAP knows not to go run off and get into to trouble unnecessarily.  It'd do her no good and she knows she's too young.  I don't even think she can handle a gun that well.  Only seen her do it once and I was the one staring down the barrel.  I'll make sure that never happens again.

It only took me a couple of hours to find some Dracs and it seemed like I hit gold this time.  There was a whole group of them in a white mobile home.  I'm not sure what they were doing out here on the outskirts of Zone 4, but I really didn't care and I still don't.  Finding a mobile home full of Dracs is like finding some lost treasure chest.  It's definitely a rarity you don't see very often.

I crouched low in the bushes and took out my handy ray gun.  I knew I'd have to be careful though, I didn't want to get ghosted – especially with Remembrance Raver's death still close to my heart and mind.  So I started first by counting them up.  I saw about six of them in all, possibly more in the trailer.  No big deal, I'd just have to be careful not to be noticed.  At least while I took out the first few.

I know a lot of people would call me crazy going up against so many of these buggers all on my own, and looking back on it I guess it was a pretty stupid idea, but come on – it's me.  I can't stray away from a good firefight.

The first Drac went down silently and the other five had no idea.  They didn't even see them fall.  Eventually, one of them walked over and saw his buddy on the ground and that was when I took him out next.  That sure got their attention.  The four remaining Draculoids started scurrying around like ants.  They quickly took cover behind whatever they could and scanned the horizon for me.  Good thing my coat and green shirt blend me in well with the dirt and brush.  It always makes things a lot easier.

I started to run to my left and ducked down into a little natural trench.  This got me closer to the mobile home and some poor Drac who was ducking behind a white barrel filled with God knows what.  I quickly took aim and knocked his sorry ass to the floor before he saw what was coming.

The others looked over and saw their third one fall and I guess they figured being outside just wasn't that safe anymore.  They all quickly jumped back up into their mobile home.  I guess I'm just too much for some Dracs to handle hahaha.  Well, naturally, I couldn't let my catch get away so I bounded out over the trench I was behind and into the open.

Again.  I know I'm not known to have the brightest ideas.  I knew they were probably looking through the blinds behind the windows to see who had been ambushing them, but at that moment I didn't really care.  My blood was pumping, the sun was fueling my anger and rage, my headphones were blaring some sweet, gun-toting music, and I can say that for once I honestly felt fuckin' crazy.

It was exhilarating… well, until I started getting fired at.

I didn't realize that last Draculoid on the ground was still alive.  I nearly got myself ghosted there.  Good thing those Dracs can't shoot to save their lives.  Literally.  I put that ass out of his misery.  At least I can say for certain that he died happily.

Stupid BLI and their damn drugs…

Ahem… anyways.  I guess those other Dracs took advantage in my lapse of judgment and stormed out of the mobile home in full force.  It was like Fourth of July.  Lasers were flying everywhere.  And to make matters worse, there were four of them.  I guess one of their buddies had been hanging around inside.  Well, as all things, I took it with a smile and started moving and dodging like a rat running from some cats.  All those target practices with Remembrance really did pay off.  Two of them went down quickly and the others hid behind some cover.

And this is where things got interesting.

"Play nice zone-rat!"  One of them yelled at me from behind a crate.  That made me laugh.  "Only if you can do the same!"  I yelled as I crouched on the back of the mobile home.

We bantered on like that for awhile.  "What d'ya bloodsuckers got in this mobile anyways?  Your pretty far out from Battery, I can only imagine why?"

"None of your damn business.  Now get out here and finish this like a man!"

That one also made me laugh a bit.  "You guys are the ones hiding.  I mean, I did take out what…"  I had to count them down on my fingers.  "One.. two… three... like four or five of you guys.  You really need to practice your aim."

"Your ignorance is really driving me up a wall kid," the second one shouted.  He had a bit of a higher voice.  Sounded like a kid himself.  I let him know that and I don't think he found it very amusing.  I guess that miracle drug doesn't work as well as they thought.

"Come out here and let's have a stand off."

"Two against one?  Hmmm… let me think about that one… no… kid!"

"Then we'll do it the fun way rat!"

That was when they both jumped out from cover.  They circled around me from both sides of the mobile home.  I fired off a shot at one of them, but it missed.  I think that was the one shot that did miss.  What a shame, I'll have to work on that.  I quickly saw their plan though and they forced me from my cover.  I ducked behind one of the crates the high pitched Draculoid had been cowering behind.  He fired a shot off at me and it singed my blue hair.  That made me mad.

So I popped out and fired right at his face.  Ghosted him on the spot.  The other one had just gotten around the mobile home and was staring at his dead friend in what I guess was shock?  He fired a shot off at me, but I ducked and rolled.  Problem was, there wasn't much of a place to roll but forward.  So I ended up rolling straight into the guy.  He gave me a nice kick to my head, which hurt a bit but really only made me more mad than anything else.  He fired another shot, but I jumped up and smashed his mask in with the butt of my gun.

Mmmmm… that felt good.

He fell to the floor with a yell and clutched his face.  I aimed my gun at him.

"I guess it's your turn to run."

It was supposed to sound epic.  It didn't really come out great though because I got a whiff of dust in my mouth from some of the wind, even with my bandana coverin' my face.  But whatever, my laser got the point across.

So once that was all good and done with I headed into the trailer.  Lots of goodies in there.  I really wasn't kidding when I said it was a treasure chest.  Lots of vampire money, though that really wasn't going to do me any good.  Some jewelry too, I don't know where the hell that came from or what use Dracs had for it.  But it was the meds, food, and alcohol that really got me.  Oh glorious, glorious alcohol… and that food and stuff too.

So I packed everything I could carry and headed off before any more of those vamps showed up.  They probably sent out for help so I was expecting them to come any minute.  It was getting dark too so I decided to camp out a bit.  The next morning I made the long trek back to Poison Kiss's and to my sister.  Had some jack to keep me company along the way which made it pretty fun.

They say you shouldn't drink in the desert, but since when did I ever listen to anyone?

I made it back by nightfall again, I'm not sure what took me so long, but I really was just enjoying myself in the desert sun for once.  Took off my mask, hair, and jacket and just sang at the top of my lungs.  I'm sure my voice scared away most people; it probably sounded like some inhuman monster.

When I got back to Poison's I was surprised to hear on the radio I'm a new target for Battery City.  Whaddya know!?  Ha, I love their exterminate picture of me.  Not sure how they got it, but I am happy they weren't able to find one with my real hair.  The blue is much cooler.

So now I'm just hanging around at Poison's until me and CAP decide to head off again.  Twenty-Seven CAP's sleeping again.  I swear she's like a cat.  She just lies around.  Good thing she didn't go with me though.  That fight, in retrospect, really was rough.  Oh well.  I took those bastards out and I dedicate it to Remembrance.  Twenty-Seven did talk to me about learning throwing knives though.  That was as shock.  She hates weapons.  But whatever.  I'll think about it.  Otherwise, for now, I'm just going to relaaaaxxxxxx…

Stay trigger happy Killjoys.  Tune in next week for more exciting adventures!  Or whatever.  I'm going to sleep.  This is Nightmare on 33.3 FM, out.

Maybe the kick jostled your brain a bit... Nice to know you have such a high opinion of me
We should go hunting together soon. I'm pretty much healed up.

Ha, maybe just a bit. But you're a good person. Thanks for watching Twenty-Seven CAP again. I hear she wants to learn to throw knives?

And yeah, I can't think of a more fun way to pass the time then hunting some poor Draculoids

*Snorts* Poor dracs, that's BS.
And yeah, I offered to teach her, if she had trouble with using a gun.

Haha, true. Yeah I suppose she could learn...

It's not that she really can't use guns well, I think it's just a psychological thing for her. Only time she really had one, as far as I know, was when she was pointing it at me. Let's just say I used to experiment a bit with some BLI stuff... it's not something I'm proud of.

I did too... Don't feel bad about it. And yeah, I understand her too. Maybe she's just not comfortable with guns. Besides, it's always good to have a backup weapon...

Yeah, I guess we all learn from our mistakes. And I suppose it wouldn't be bad for her to learn how to handle some weapons. I always pictured her bashing in some heads with her guitar if she ever got in a fight but I guess that's just a pretty, unrealistic fantasy hahaha

The guitar would break before the Dracs did, but that's an awesome picture xD
