The goal of this piece was to achieve photo likeness in detail and rendering, not to create an original idea necessarily. This piece does not trace over the picture in anyway, since the challenge is to achieve likeness through traditional painting and drawing methods. I've been working on it for a about a week. I find this kind of practice very relaxing, it simply about matching detail and there's something really calming about it.

I will be trying to post more regularly again, thanks to everyone who has continued supporting me even in my time away!
