Does freedom change you?Doesn't this feel kinda heavy? I had forgotten black and white picture had this intensity.
I really just needed an excuse to draw flying fish. They are GREAT. I mean, FISH that FLY?
This was supposed to be an acrylic painting, but I'm happy I drew it instead, it feels more like what I wanted in the first place.
But I'm still sad. I was so pleased with myself, having used nothing but pen and paper (yeah, pencil and rubber were in too, but you know what I mean). And then I touched it with spinach.
It was suddenly not cool at all, because there had to be white paint now, and my attempts to change the water were followed by more paint.
...it is just impure now (although you see nothing of it. Yes, ponder on that.).

thanks!! It was quite experimental but i still like it a lot. might try something like that again, if the idea strikes.

Idek where to start. This is really, really cool. Looks like it was a lot of work, making textures without using pre-made ones. I like the wings, looking see-through-ish and thin. The thingies you cold have done better are the water droplets on the left. They look a bit shakey and thick lined, compared to the other thin lines. If the lines were thinner towards the light source, it would have been a little better. But the different poses and perspectives of those fishes and especially the one resembling a bird are super impressive! :3 This is sooooo cool, sislyhoody. <33

How do you do that?
Thta's exactly it- I tried to put some shadows into the droplets, failed,
and this is where I had to use whites paint to cover that up, and then
black pen to cover THAT up. And i thought maybe
noone would notice.... But I'm happy you did. It makes
it more important for me to actually improve my way of drawing and not
just go with whatever "works".
