Description Blossoms from my field trip with Trent.. We had such a great time.. It was one of those crisp summer days when the air smells like perfume.. the sun warms you and the breeze cools you.. I just wanted to lay down in the grass and have a nap.. *sigh* What a great day!

What ae the chances that I clicked random deviation and it led me here? I tell you, this damn place is intelligent!

tee hee.

But joking aside, even though I'm no photographer and not great on commenting on them, I do like this photo. It calms me somehow and reminds me of a golden british meadow when I used to go to school

of the flower shots this one is probably my favorite. i really like the composition of the shot. the 'free floating' flowers are great!!!

Greatness!

I love the pattern of the single branch that you chose to focus on. The background completes the pattern of flowers you have there, making th subject stand out, yet balancing the picture at the same time. The color of the sky is wonderful.

I think that you should make the horizon parallel to the side of the picture.

What font is that?

This I like the best. The blurred background compliments your main subject very nicely. Nice title....very elegant font as well.

Nice macro..and agree with Idah on the way the foreground leads your eye from left to right...

The focus is perfect..and nice colours too. My only gripe would be the satuation, which is a tad faded.

Great capture overall anyway!

*sigh*
That description...i would've loved to be there I love how the flowers in the whole field are of the same kind but only the upfront ones are in focus, and not in the norm 'center' perspective but rather more of one that creeps in from the left side of the shot (hope that made sense )

ANYways...

I like the focus on this one, the blossoms really make me long for the countryside... At least we've got the weather for it here today! The bits of the photo that I like the most are the bits of blossom that are against a background of sky, they seem to stand out more and I like the combination of colours... Sorry, I know bugger all about photography, but I will persevere.

yay! I've been waiting for some new ones... *quietly celebrates*. This is such an atmospheric photo, the way the background is all hazy and fades of in the left of the frame. As Judyisarunt says there is a nice seperation between the back and the foreground in terms of focus, but then they're linked by the flowers that join in the middle, sandwiched between grass and sky. I can almost smell the pollen...

it's so unreal, what with the great distinction between foreground and background. y'know that bit in the wizard of oz when they're in a field of poppies? it feels a lot like that. *applauds*

I second the comment about New York. We're having a spring like last year, it's going to be cold and miserable until July at which point it will begin to swelter and be really really gross. But anyway lol...

This picture makes me dizzy.

I think it's because I don't know where to focus immediately because the blossoms are all the same color... but oh well. Pretty, I wish it weren't so cold here. [protracted sigh]

I miss days like that.
Again a beautiful shot.
I really like the focus in this one.
And again, the dandilions.
