What mainly got under my skin about it was how you got only get it from a $2000 tour that you had to book a year before hand as only a limited amount of people allowed each year. It was beyond exclusive. And of course those who did get in bought multiple and sold the extras on E-bay just to rub it in some more.

For me I dont give a shit that I didnt get the mask,I am missing all comic con ones,russian gold skull mask and this one.They are story irellevant and are just stupid fucking recolours just to be there for no god damn reason.Im glad I even have the transorange one just in case I ever decide my 2015 Tahu doesnt have enough transorange to feel more like rock candy.

I'm fine without the Gali mask, but back then when people figured out how they could get one had a bit of an uproar from most. Though I did get a Hero Pack and when I could buy the trans clear hau and the trans neon green skull mask for the sake of my collection. I may be a bit of a completionist when it comes to Bionicle.

I got lucky with the queens, managed to find them for fairly cheap. Rahi are also I need well only the Manas and Muaka&Kane-ra the rest I have, same for every titan, except Voporak the time hunter, but that is a combiner like Kardas.

I feel like these masks were made just to stroke on the glory days of bionicle.G1 had alot of promo masks too but they were easier to get and had some story relevance,copper huna and komau= prizes for kohlii winners,orange vahi=legendary mask with story importance.

Remember that building contest they held towards the beginning of the G2 era, with the grand prize being a solid gold mask? I met the lady who won it and my boss tried to buy the mask from her. Understandably that thing was beyond priceless to her and she refused, even when he offered her over half the store's stock to her in trade.
