I'm really upset to be honest.There is nothing honorable on giving up on a gift that is life.
There is nothing honorable hurting the people who care about you by leaving them mourning BECAUSE THERE ALWAYS IS SOMEONE WHO CARES.
There is nothing honorable about suicide.
This is selfish.
This isn't okay.
I know that we all have problems and mental issues and the list can go on quite forever, I know, but I do not understand why quitting life is an option people take on so easily.
I've given up on humanity long time ago but I can't give it up on myself, therefore I can be upset about this.
Linkin Park has been such a huge source of inspiration and at first it was their music that I used to build up certain aspects of my main character, hence he is here now as well. I do hope they keep going even without the main singer.
Chester Bennington, I can't honor what decision you made but I shall honor what you've accomplished in your life. Thank you for the amazing contribution to the world of music and I hope you're not feeling so heavy-minded wherever you are now.

I honestly don't care when you come yelling at me that "depression isn't something to be taken easily" or "suicide is honorable" because then you're just being a prick by thinking I'm an idiot and making yourself sound like one.

I understand you completely. I think it is wrong as well, and should never happen. However, the human mind is complicated, and often doesn't see the big picture when in misery.
Now, I barely knew him, what caused him grief, anything. I just know it is often out of desperation to end the suffering. However, life isn't easy. Fighting the urge is the real battle, to conquer that horrible urge to speed things up.
It is selfish to do, to just give up on not only yourself, but everyone. I keep going because I KNOW there are others who need me, and I can't give up on them. In fact, it scares me, thinking of leaving those who need me behind. I worry more for them than myself. With the love from others who need me, I realize, I cannot give up on myself either.
