Ideas for the giant spider species that will be featured in my dragon painting series wich "Herradraken" is part of.These are far from every species/tribes, more will come.
If there's one species/tribe you like more than the other, leave a comment and I'll try and do some more views and variations!

So, they are like ordinary spiders, but instead of catching flies it catches dragons in its webs? Well, I must say that Darwin would be proud.
Also, about the Furuncle Maenea, how do you kill such a thing?

Haha he probably would until he came in the middle of a dragon/spider fight.
Hmm...if you're in a close-up fight (wich you wouldn't want to as the Furuncle Maeneas are about the same height as the average man) you probably want to be completely covered up in clothes/armor. Since the smallest wound can allow the toxin to reach your blood. Other than that I'd say a barrage of spears would do the trick
