SO THIS TOOK FOREVER!!!!!!!!
I dedicate this to my friend As late birthday gift. Sorry it took so long buddy.

Okay, so I was inspired by Devil May Cry 4's theme song the time has come. And it got me thinking about what would Alex look like in his shade form, so I did a little research.
So the concept for this was:
A.) Shadows are often organic and or geometric according to the object casting said shadow, and like light, It wraps around said object.
B.) Studying the form of the human body, especially muscle structure, I decided to make it seem as if the shadow replaced the skin of my character, hence the reason the form looks so much like muscles. And considering that shadow in and of itself becomes invisible/non-existent when light hits it, the muscle idea stuck with me.
C.) I also figured that just exposing the muscle underneath wasn't going to look as good if I just left it looking like muscle tissue. So I added geometric forms and texture to give it a coated look, which turned out far more spectacular than I had originally intended.

Note: Originally, I was planning for his hair to wrap around him much like the Character Beyonetta from the video game Beyonetta. And while it seemed like a good idea in the sketch stage, in the end it just didn't fit. But I did know that I wanted for my characters hair to have something to do with his transformation, so I ended up with his hair dissolving into shadow/dark-matter, which I thought was a far better concept than weaving the hair around his body like Beyonetta. And I know I still have to work on the hair in the image, it isn't completely done yet.

For his eyes I had gone through several concepts, And while I like this version I will probably change it, Originally I was planning on having his eyes seep out black smoke, but the picture was dark enough, and the whole affect would be muted, so in the end I went with bright white glowing eye's, And I will probably make it more like a light-saber effect with having gray for the center and white around for the glowing, either way I think I will change it in the future.
