I often look at art a bit too closely. Every piece speaks to me. I'm kind of artistically empathetic, I guess!
But I want to say what I see in this.
The arms being crossed gives me a sense of being defensive or closed off or even a sense of self reassurance. Like "giving yourself a hug." Crossing arms to me can either be putting up walls or simply reminding yourself to stay strong and stable.
The smile to me shows either denial or false happiness or even simply wit. It can be denying the negetivity- insisting it does not exist- or simply pretending for the sake of others that everything is fine. It could also be an act of rebellion, smiling through the pain and remaining happy and strong through whatever hellish things try to bring you down.
The lack of eyes shows being anonymous or simply hiding true feelings. It could be a statement on that this could happen to anyone or its a way of covering up what's really on the inside.
The fact that she isn't holding the guns herself makes me think that she doesn't think its her fault or that she doesn't want to be the one to bring herself down. She doesn't want to be the one inflicting to pain or is saying that she isn't the one doing it altogether.
Her posture is straight and head is held high, showing acceptance or confidence in her fate.
You can't see her hands. Probably just a character design but could also mean that she is independent. She isn't willing to take anyone's hand or reach out for something to hold onto. It could be that she is self dependent or it could mean that she feels alone.
The movement of the hair to me says that she has a sense of or wants freedom as wind often represents. She wants to break away from all of this- whatever this is to her.
I may be overanalyzing but that's just what I gather from it!

Yes, she does not want to harm her own self, but it's like a mind thing, I guess you could say. I should have drawn on a few hands holding the guns. She is not physically holding the guns, yes, but, the guns are just an internal thing, not external.
