Description Up, up and away! Already on their third sortie of the day, 116 and 121 are seen rocketing out of Zagreb's RWY 23 in an unusually tight - and attractive - formation. Together with 166 - a twin-stick UMD that had also flown a couple of times - MiG operations had today almost outnumbered civilian ones!

No. The -93 version had never gone beyond the prototype stage and no nation had used that particular mod. The examples pictured are "bis D" models, a stock bis upgraded with NATO-standard IFF gear, as well as a civilian transponder, GPS, CDI and associated NAV/COM radio (mostly Bendix-King).
