Finally finished this one
Less than 2 months, before April, that's good XD

So about the story, I still need to work on it, but I have a beginning of plot.
During the Prohibition era, in a world where trolls and humans live together, alcohol or any intoxicating beverages are prohibited, so it applies to humans AND troll beverage. In this dark area, a lot people and especially gangsters try to survive by starting illegal bars (speakeasies). One bar knows a huge succes, and welcomes humans as well as trolls. The bar is called Skaia and is managed by the human "gangsters", Strider-Lalonde family and their friends Harley-Egbert-English-Crocker family (why they must have different family names XP) Their group is neither a big nor a powerful one, but they are well protected by the Mayor, the Chief of police of the city and the head of a Newspaper company.
However, one gangster, called Calliborn English, wants their downfall. A long time ago, when it was the kids' parents who were controlling the bar, an important event led them to their death, but also to the "downfall" of Lord English, Calliborn's father. Calliborn wants then to avenge his father. He needs to kill the boss, Dave Strider, and the underboss Rose Lalonde. To do so, he forced a beautiful troll, Kanaya Maryam (by kidnapping her friends) to seduce Rose Lalonde, because he knows that she has particular tastes....she likes to watch and more if affinity (XD)
Calliborn thinks that by seducing Rose, the one who is the most suitable to see the threat, and making her falling in love with Kanaya, the latter will be able to kill her and Dave, Rose's brother. Forced to obey, Kanaya starts her mission. But neither Calliborn nor Kanaya predict that she, the troll forced to seduce Rose and to kill her, will be the troll who will fall in love with her.

Not so original for a plot, but I don't care, I love good old dramas and stuffs.

Concerning the characters, they don't change a lot from Homestuck, but some background related to the story

Dave Strider-Lalonde: Boss of the "family", ironic as ever, he doesn't talk much, except when singing. But he is really attentive and don't miss any details behind his shades. He is the one who gives final words concerning projects.

Rose Strider-Lalonde: Underboss of the "family", she is the one who plan everything concerning the Skaia and the other "relative stuff outside" As it was told in the plot, she surprisingly likes to play a little, and has a preference for female trolls, after all "she has particular tastes" (quoted from the movie "True Lies" XD) She tends to dress like a man, so the male employees would treat her like an equal and not like a woman who happens to be lucky to have power in the system. Because, even if women have a lot of more power than before, it was not yet perfect.

Roxy Strider-Lalonde: Dave and Rose's big sister. Behind the bar, she prepares the beverage. Since she used to drink a lot when she was younger she knows how to prepare all types of beverage, then she is the best suited for the job, especially since with Rose's help they were able to manufacture their own alcohols for the bar. Thanks to Calliope, her "matesprit" she learned to control herself and to stop drinking like there is no tomorrow. Normally, when her parents (also Dirk, Dave and Rose's) died, she was destined with Dirk to control the bar, but she refused as she considered herself responsible for their death, even if the others say the contrary.

Calliope English: yes, she is Calliborn's sister, and is the reason whey her matesprit's parents fought against Lord English. Her father had an obvious preference for her brother. So she used to be beaten and other dirty stuff during all her childhood. She met Roxy one day, when she left her house after hours of beating. Roxy helped her and eventually after years of friendship, they fell in love. But Lord English was totally against it, and did everything to have her back. A war started between the Skaia and the Lord English's gang. At the end, Lord English was killed, Roxy's parents died by protecting their children. To cut all her ties with her family, Calliope feigned her death, and lives with the Strider-Lalonde family since then, by disguising herself like a troll.

Dirk Stider-Lalonde: The big brother of the family, he decided to let the control of the Skaia to his younger siblings, because of his identity problem (not sure what exactly, but let say it's the same problem with Lil Hal). He is the big brother who will always protect his siblings and take care of them. He takes also care with Rowy to eliminate eventual enemies if needs be. He is a sort of bodyguard.

Jake English: He happens to have the same name as Calliborn and Calliope, but he is not a relative. In fact he is Jade, John and Jane's borther. He lived with Jade in California for adventures. But after the event with Lord English, they decided to come back to help the others. Because he goes along with everyone, he is the person who knows everything or at least know how to get information in the city.

Jade Harley: The smiling-type, Jade is like the engineer of the family an repairs everything that is broken. She is also with Roxy the rifle user to eliminate people when discretion is needed XP She is in general the person who helps everyone no matter what, and the keystone concerning the sanity of the group, in other words, when someone feels sad, Jade is her to save the day and lighten the mood. She loves to play guitar at night when the bar is opened.

John Egbert: The joker of the group XD And also the one who is managing the stocks all the days. With Jade, he lightens the mood by playing piano.

Jane Crocker:The cooker and the doctor of the story. During the day, she takes care of the pastry, which is the undercover for the bar. It makes a side revenue, since her cake is well known around the city to be delicious. But behind this sweet appearance, she is also the one who takes care of the bodies to make them disappear by chopping them for example... (oh thanks recent upd8te for tron! Jane XD)

Kanaya Maryam: Forced to obey to Calliborn, she is taking away from her simple life, and will discover the mob life. She used to be a seamstress/taylor with a little shop in the city.

Sorry if descriptions are not long for certain, I didn't develop the characters yet....

Anyway, I may write it, but I'm not sure when...since I'm not the writer type, and English is not my first language, we'll see...if someone is interested to write it with me...

Concerning the drawing....at the end it was a challenge, since my computer is quite old, each time that I saved the file, I had to wait for 5 minutes...I need a new computer QoQ
When I started coloring Kanaya...It dawned on me that in the drawing she was not a rainbow drinker...I had to remove her fangs XP
Also Roxy, Calliope, Jake and Jane are waiters here.

Oh I drew this because I saw a picture of Rose and Kanaya wearing suits and waistcoats...and I love waistcoats ha ha ha

Also, for people who are interested in my doing commission, review there to give me an idea of prices for commissions, so I cant start it soon
