I recently played the Mass Effect series... And I have to say, the game is totally great. Here my custom female Commander Shepard (because I felt like doing a custom character)Basically, here my reactions when looking at my character img202.imageshack.us/img202/57…
I really love her uniform; even if the hoodie would have been nice (but I couldn't have it)

I like it. This version of Shepard looks a little like a combination of June and Taylor from that VERY moving piece you made a few months back (June's hair and Taylor's scars; seriously, I'm sorry I never reviewed it but that picture and story were AMAZING). She looks great. I would suggest using her in Mass Effect fan art just because she's yours (although she looks more suited for Renegade-style "stuff" than Paragon--it's the scars, I think). I can't say I love this piece because its a lot more simplistic than the drawings I really love (like Monsterstuck and Prohibitionstuck) but I like this design and hope you'll draw more of her.
As for the ending to Mass Effect 3 (I read your Tumblr), I'm assuming you played a later addition with all the DLC and changes made to clarify what the heck was going on (as much as I still don't like the new ending, I admit it is serviceable and WAY better than the original one).
Also, because you haven't yet posted the Prohipitionstuck comic, I'm going to say this here: HOLY COW! That. Was. Awesome. Pure and simple. I loved it, the drawings, the emotion, it was perfect, even without color (although the colored parts are very good, too). Still waiting for Monsterstuck, but this makes the waiting bearable. Thank you for gracing us with these amazing ideas.

I really wanted to use her design for the other ME fan arts, but I'm scared that people won't understand that she is Shepard. So surely I will use the original one, which is lovely as well. But I won't forget this one, I love her too much to stop drawing her, maybe for special occasion or idea
He he if you want big drawing, you'll have soon (well I hope, because big pictures mean also a lot of time to do them.) I have 2 big ones in my computer that I need to finish.
Yes I almost download everything in ME3... So I don't really understand why people hate the end so much. Because I think it is really decent, in comparison to certain other endings of games I played :/ I don't say it's the best one, but I really like it... It's sad however that we have the scene of an alive Shepard in the destruction solution only...since I chose the synthesis one...but I decided to solve this problem he he he (future next project I'm on ha ha ha comics comics)

If your sad about Shepard's death, you should have gotten the upgraded version. In that one, Shepard can survive in all three if you rack up enough points in preparation (in the first one, you have to have the maximum amount). A lot of what people don't like about the original endings is how little sense they make (ex: Hologram kid's logic makes no sense, if the mass relays are destroyed the fleet is now stranded on ruined Earth. if the relays blow, shouldn't the solar system be destroyed, etc.)
Honestly, I always hated the destroy ending (after EDI and Legion, destroying all synthetic life seemed kind of hypocritical to what the series was about thus far). Some people don't like the synthesis ending because it seems too implausible and seems to go against the whole "diversity is good" thing the series has been about thus far, but I'm kind of OK with it 'cause it reminds me of Beast Machines (not as good as Beast Wars, but not bad). Also, there's that whole "Was Shepard indoctrinated" conspiracy theory in the original ending, which (thank Heaven!) Bioware didn't make canon! (It would have been like Bioware flipped the bird to the whole audience).
Personally, I like the new ending better, it's still kind of weird, but you can learn more about the choices (like why synthesis works), and it shows what happened to your surviving crew. Most importantly (to me), you can choose NOT TO CHOOSE! Some fans were hacked off that Shepard just goes along with Hologram Kid (after spending the better part of three games fighting for free will and self-determination), so Bioware put in an option where Shepard refuses all three of its. Then, there's a time skip and a woman tells a child about how THE Shepard's sacrifices helped the next Civilization end the Cycle (Actually, this is the second version, originally, Bioware decided to show the Normandy get crushed by a Reaper, then time skipped to Liara's time capsule playing a recording of how she and the others couldn't stop the Reapers but maybe the new civilizations will. I think Bioware didn't like being questioned).

Oh I didn't about the survival thing, each video I saw, Shepard is alive only in the destroy ending :/ (bad youtube XD) Anyway, I'll still do my own version (a quite long comic...hope to be able to do it) I'll try to not take to much time though...
I replay the final arc to look at the destroy ending and I hate it. You try everything to break the cycle and at the end you are told that eventually the cycle will keep going...you did everything for nothing at the end.
Yeah I read about this whole synthesis/indoctrination thing... I think that people are finding excuses for not accepting this end. The whole "diversity is good"....ha ha it makes me laugh, because if "diversity is good" why do we have all the discrimination, racist, sexism problems right now?? No really. Big words to find excuses. People say also that they don't accept that we change their DNA without their permission...that is called evolution!! It's a natural phenomenon, Shepard only accelerated the processus XD
People don't understand how come you have the same DNA you have peace...I believe in the idea of equality.
The synthetics/organics problems are based on the idea that organics created synthetics for helping them and at the end the synthetics will rise to overthrow the organics or the organics will destroy the synthetics (Geth/ quarians war is a good example) at the end if everyone is equal this war has no meaning... now this is my own interpretation, but that's why I prefer the synthetics ending....

Il fair que tu commences par le 1 vu que les choix du 1 influe sur le 2 et le 3 de même les choix du 2 influe sur le 3... Donc ce sera pas la meme chose que si tu commences par le 2, on voit surtout un différence dans le 3. Et en plus tu risque de rater la première scène Yuri du premier si tu poursuis une relation Yuri (raison principale pour laquelle j'ai commencé le jeu XP) et malgré les graphismes plutôt moyen le 1 est vraiment sympa

I kinda liked my Shepard better in his black jacket ensemble.
Though to be honest, I preferred keeping him in full armor with a complete helmet. Looks better that way.
Also, because DAT TERMINUS ARMOR IS EPIC AS HELL
...sorry, my mecha tendencies are showing again...
And yes, Mass Effect's overall graphics and look just improved CRAZY WELL over the course of those three games.I wish it didn't take so long to load whenever you went to another floor of the Normandy in ME2 though...

Well what I liked the best must the possibility to have a lovely yuri relationship between femshep and Liara (this is one of the main reason for me to play the game in fact XD) and I wanted to play a shooting game also... The best would be the DLC Citadel... I couldn't stop laughing so hard!!

Well, I am a full paragon (didn't want to think too much about it...the choices were hard already)....about the choices you mean like...Wrex is alive (and it was a good decision because in the Citdel DLC he is damn funny! Kaidan is dead....bla bla bla...
I have to admit, the first time I finished ME2...half of my crew were dead, so I played again to save everyone (Garrus and Tali were dead, I couldn't accept that!!)
Ha ha never tried the multiplayer, I was already a no-life with the solo-game, I didn't want to make everything worse, since I couldn't draw anymore because of that :/

And ouch...nah, the multiplayer's not THAT consuming.
It does make it much easier to access the complete ending of 3 though.
And I don't care what anyone else says, the ending of three was JUST fine by me, even BEFORE the Extended Cut. The needless fanrage over the supposed 'lameness' of the ending was a bloody embarrassment, really. Then again, considering how easy it is for people like me and you to put together headcanons and epic stories anyway, maybe they weren't able to fill in the endings for themselves like we could. XD
Also, on the subject of fan rage, I took the Synthesis ending without wasting a second to think about it.
I saved the geth, EDI, the universe, and made the Reapers cool with organics, ushering in a new golden age.
And as far as I'm concerned, Shepard didn't die there. He's just a ghost in the system now, moving through the realms of cyberspace. 8'D
...picking the Destroy ending isn't bad, per se...but when the people who picked it start ranting about it being the 'true' ending, and coming up with mindscrew theories just to rubb it in everyone else's face about how right they are for Destroy...yeah, that gets annoying pretty fast.

You know I wasn't even aware that we could kill Wrex. It is only when beginning to the ME2, I saw "Wrex is alive", I gasped 'What we could have killed him??!! OMG'
Concerning the end, yeah I chose Synthesis also, I couldn't stand killing EDI (especially after all her scene when she says she is eventually human and is happy with Joker...come on how you can kill her now) and the geth...after all the trouble to make peace between them and the quarians...I just couldn't kill them (even if it was this particular ending in which we can see a Shepard "alive")
Personally, I imagine that somewhere on earth all the energy created by the crucible is gathering underground to recreate Shepard (because of the DNA mixing, it is easy to redo Shepard's DNA) so she/he can be alive again...in fact I wanted to do a comics concerning this end with a Femshep/Liara ship (in which Liaria will look for Shepard for 200 years (headcannon because of the synthesis humans and other species has a much longer lifespan) and she will eventually find her X') )...look at what you are doing to me...I tell you my end before the comics is even drawn!!! XD
The perk for people like us...we don't stop at the limits of the game, we go to infinity and beyond!! XD

Though, mine was less of a 'continuation' and more of just following the path of new and possibly different characters in the new world Shepard left behind, possibly with little hints here and there to show that he never truly vanished. He's still out there, a ghost in the ether watching over the world he made. TTuTT

Her Mass Effect works are INCREDIBLE, and she's even done a series detailing the events of the Reaper-Prothean war, timelines and so on, and some INCREDIBLE artwork. She ships Garrus and FemShep, and their kid, in her art, is AMAZING.
Go check it out, I GUARANTEE it is a must for a Mass Effect fan...especially one with as many similar tastes as me. XD

And yeah, one thing about the ME universe is...those alien races are a PAAAAAAAAAAAAIN to draw.
