Thank you! It's funny though ... This one is so old now, that I can only see the HORRID things wrong with it. I still like the mood, and the fact that you can only see Lupin's back/scars, but OMG! Their heads ARE ENORMOUS! And they have teeny little T-Rex arms!
I should probably re-draw this one day.

Hmm, I like this one. Yeah, better without Thewlis' face, well done. Imo, okay, possessive, but also protective. I like how they hug each other. And the scars come out really fine.

The shading worked out really well - gives it a lot of depth & the scars are great!! How'd you do them?

For the scars, I just filled in his skin tone very lightly all over his back, then used my kneaded eraser to make thin lines, then very lightly outlined them in pencil. They turned really well considering I spend about 10 seconds making them!
Now that the pic is done, I can see some 'problems' with it. Snape's head is too big (a problem I have in lots of my pics) and Thier arms are a bit too thin in places, but I'm really happy with the shading. I'm using darker pencils. Lots of this is in 4B. I"m still not thrilled with Lupin's hair, but it's better than it would have been three weeks ago!

omg i cant believe this - we have these penguins here called Fairy Penguins (i dont know if what other countrys have them but neway...) and they HAVE RENAMED THEM BECAUSE APPARENTLY FAIRY PENGUIN IS NOW POLITICALLY INCORRECT?!?!!!!! that was so upsetting to me - how far gone is this society?! that we cant have little fairy penguins... frikkin argghh
