It's an urban thing, I suspect: you can live in one of the greatest cities in the world and still feel cursed. Doesn't make sense, but it can make for great art!!

That's how photographers suppose to work, isn't it?
I loved to watch the contact sheets from my mentor's work, you could see how he approach his subjects, you could see almost what he was thinking. And I have found that good photographers approach their subjects, be it a light post or a harbor worker, in a similar way. They take several shots until they are satisfied with the result.

Yes its how we are taught in university. Work your subject by starting with an establishing over all shot and then come closer and closer and closer...now this is great advise when working with female models
