Rouge is Bulma, Sonic is Goku, Knuckles is Yamcha and Shadow is Vegeta. The pictures should make sense if you're familiar with DBZ.Bulma was good friends with Goku, then she began to fancy Yamcha and then Vegeta came along xD Yeaaaahhh.
I know Goku didn't get his orange outfit until later at the World Tournament, but I felt that his original blue one would clash with his blue fur. Two different shades.
Also something moved me to choose Bulma's and Vegeta's outfits from Cell saga, dunno.
Also yes, Knuckles is Yamcha and not Piccolo. He is nothing like Piccolo. Heck, Espio is more like Piccolo.

actually thats another universe that was erased and changed. they broke up and sonic said he's done dating sally, and he would perfer it if they'd stay friends. so no not officially

I really paired them up cause of personality similarities. If I paired them by power it would be weird. Cause Bulma not having wings would mean I couldn't make her Rouge xD Or some other asininities.

Well if anything, CLASSIC knux is piccalo.
Mainly since he had an era of cool too him, and it carried over to sonic adventure. Now days he is no where near that comparison, i will agree though XD

The second generation, aside from Krillin's daughter who is just a background characrter without a role, contains no humans for example.

Not really, Knuckles has always been a hothead, Piccolo has always been coolheaded. Knuckles is depicted as shy around the opposite sex, Piccolo is asexual.
