Rouge is Bulma, Sonic is Goku, Knuckles is Yamcha and Shadow is Vegeta. The pictures should make sense if you're familiar with DBZ.Bulma was good friends with Goku, then she began to fancy Yamcha and then Vegeta came along xD Yeaaaahhh.
I know Goku didn't get his orange outfit until later at the World Tournament, but I felt that his original blue one would clash with his blue fur. Two different shades.
Also something moved me to choose Bulma's and Vegeta's outfits from Cell saga, dunno.
Also yes, Knuckles is Yamcha and not Piccolo. He is nothing like Piccolo. Heck, Espio is more like Piccolo.

But i do like thatyou made him yamcha, it does fit him pretty good. Cocky, hot headed, lived in seclusion. eventhually became the joke of the series XD

Yeah, Toriyama's infamously bad with handling characters, and wrote most of the cast in favor of the saiyans. Even the voice actors expressed displeasure with it. Kinda like 06, and its hedgehogs only stance.

yeah, that's been my reasoning as to why everyone hates the other sonic cast. The fact that the writers shifted so often the characters didn't get proper development, not simply because "UGH, TOO MANY"
but yeah yamcha used to be a fun character, until DBZ happened

Its not quite as bad, except in Sonic 06, but yeah that does happen sometimes.
You'll also notice by the end, DBZ's cast is almost entirely saiyan, with Krillin being the only full human whose not a spouse, or relative of a saiyan. Toriyama said that was because he really liked Krillin, and thus didn't write him out.
There was even a DBZ MMO where all player characters were Son, and Vegeta family because regular humans wouldn't be strong enough to help according ot the developers.

yeah. Though since the games now have a team of writers it wont be as bad, mainly since pontac and what's his name have been looking at more sonic related things, and the guys at bigredbutten doing sonic boom and all.

Pretty much, Dragon Ball was only written by one guy, who was forgetful, had loss interest in many of his characters, and even losing of the series as a whole.
Worse, the game was supposed to be only one hundred and something years in the future!

Thats why its always good to have multiple talented writers working on a series. It can also mean characters don't get forgotten,and tossed aside.

Not bad. Now all we need is for one of Amy as Chi-Chi, Tails as Krillen (or whoever you think matches him better), and a bunch of others. I don't know who else matches up (though I personally think that Adult Gohan and Silver have similarities), so I guess I'll have to leave the rest to you.

Both Chi-Chi and Amy are IN LOVE with the main protagonist. Chi-Chi wanted to marry Goku back in Dragon Ball. Same with Amy wants Sonic to marry her! Both of them are pretty scary when they are angry (I mean scary as in overpowered.) Goku does marry Chi-Chi in the end and have Gohan.
I do agree with you that Knuckles is more like Yamcha that Piccolo because Knuckles started out as an antagonist in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Same with Yamcha. King Piccolo doesn't count because that was Piccolo's father.

Goku does love Chi-Chi back. While Sonic secretly loves Amy. He acts the way he does to her for a reason. He often stutters and gets nervous when he is around Amy. He also likes to tease her too.

He really isn't. Yamcha is shy around women, Knuckles is too. Yamcha is a goof, Knuckles is too. Of course he can be serious, but he still is nothing like Piccolo. He's a hothead. And Knuckles was never evil unlike Piccolo. He is simply a gullible idiot and believed Eggman's lies xD

No way. the only woman Knuckles was ever shy around was Rouge and that's because of her play sexual statements and advances. Never shy around Sally, Amy, Mina, Bunny or anyone else. The only time Knuckles is a goof is in cartoons where he's portrayed Β as a total muscle bound idiot. Knuckles is confident in his abilities, would rather end a fight quickly and is a very serious once arch-rival and villain to the main hero and has become more or less one of his top greatest allys. Comparing Knuckles to Yamacha, doesn't even come close. But its your artwork, doesn't really matterΒ

He's really Yamcha to me. In Sonic 3 you defeat him in a couple of hits (not saying he's not strong, cause he is, but sheesh), he barely does anything in the future games. Just guards his precious shiny. Or looks for the parts of the aforementioned shiny.
If he fights, he's not a strategist type. It's been shown that, at least in games, he fights with a red hot passion. Which means blindy throwing punches around xD Piccolo, well, he's a cool fellow, really. Espio wasn't a villain either, but he's really more like him. Calm, collected, serious, skillful, smart, all that awesome stuff.

I wouldn't say Knuckles was hot-head. In SA, SA2 and Heroes he seemed collected and level-headed. Later on they changed him in hot-head for some reason...for comic relief and flanderization himΒ I guess.
And he isΒ master of martial arts so I wouldn't agree to thatΒ blindy throwing punches around thing.

I know he wasn't a fool at first, but since nobody liked Big they needed someone for comic relief, I guess xD He was always gullible though. In S3K and SA he believed Eggman, remember? They just way exaggerated what was already there.
I don't know about that really. Depends on how frustrated and pissed he is, I guess xD If he's calm it's easier to think and develop a strategy of course.
I don't argue about fighting skills and moves tho, he's good at that. It's how he applies them.

Nowdays, comic's one is probably the best one, where he now was fighting with Shadow.
