I really like the combination of the book and movie looks. The movie's costumes were pretty kickass. But, then, who doesn't love the illustrations in the books?
Sunny looks innocent (as befits a baby), Violet's just sorta... "What misfortune has befallen us now?" and Klaus looks very emo. Wow. Emo + Harry Potter glasses = somehow very amusing.

Eh, the illustrator for the series made him look like Harry Potter anyway. I just based the picture on his design. (Well except for the clothes. Those were from the movie.)

I haven't actually see the movie yet (I'm scared it'll reck my mental images of all the characters like it did for Harry Potter), so I wouldn't exactly know. But I like your style better then the illustrator's anyways. Yours make them seem more... alive? Or something like that.
