Someone asked me to draw this, so I thought it would be a good chance to experiment with some unuesd media that has been lying around my room.Prelim thing in scraps

It's kind funny. I was reading through the comments people gave you on this and one person says that it looks like he's going to suck her blood. Well the actor who plays the Phantom, Gerard Butler, actually played Dracula in the movie Dracula 2000, and yeah.
I really like this, that was one of my fave parts of the movie and one of my fave songs, i have the soundtrack and i listen to it all the time! Great job!

I have to agree with you, I like detatched-Phantom better. (I also refuse to call Movie!Phantom "Erik." Because he's way too pretty to be Erik.)
I'm very fond of his collar and of his hand on the right. Which would probably be his left hand...? I don't know. It's very good. Pastels/chalks are hard to work with and you did a very good job.

critiques: i dont think that i would have put the black in her hair, it stands out really badly, maybe you could blend it a little bit? and Eriks arm is lost it looks like..
i feel bad now, i dont like to critique, especially (sp) on art since mine is always bad.... but its really good!!!

Thanks! I know there are a lot of things wrong with it and the colors needed to be blended more, but I was just paying with the stuff I was using so it naturally wouldn't have looked all that great anyways. Ah well.

nice! i realy like this! ... but i all ways thought of the phantom alittle more...detached... from cristine during this song, like not all lovey-dovey ... its funny how differnt the real things are from how you imagin them.

Fan-bloody-tastic, especially for the medium it's in, which I've always found impossible to work with. I particularly like all the depth you put into Christine's hair by layering the different colours. Very nice!
