Personality:

enthusiastic, excited, and endlessly optimistic! michael is VERY hard to knock down (metaphorically). Despite The Whole Being Mounted Thing. he's just happy to be here, and happy to offer a song or a chat to whoever will listen. he has high ambitions of worldwide fame (whether of the familiar show variety or otherwise), but for now he's content to stick to anyone who knows him in lilypad.

History:

came from the spiraldown kennel at SOME point (hence "spiraldown's" in his id/show name), but for the time being details about that time period are somewhat vague! he DOES fondly remember it (as well as meg and jace) though

michael turned up during the Krakens vs Phoenixes turf war - maybe just excited by the action? well, he ended up getting a little more than he bargained for when the sprinklers went haywire and flooded the arena with gold paint. on his way down the tide, he was found by someone!

...or, well, more aptly, he found someone.

................... or......... more aptly, he happened to drift by a stranded Goldy clinging onto something for dear life. of course, michael couldn't really ACTUALLY help at all, but he COULD sing a song to help lighten their fellow fish's mood! so that's what he did! ..did it actually lighten the mood for anyone except him? A Very Strong No. but regardless, he was happy to accompany their newfound friend even after the flood and turf war came to a close!

Goldy is less than pleased about the situation. as you could maybe guess.

...i dont think michael is aware that, to goldy, the visual of a mounted fish floating past while they (a fish) were terrified and stranded was actually Not Good and the singing Didnt Help
hes not the smartest guy around or the best at reading the room but he tries his best
Goldy doesnt know he has farjump. They didnt give him that. Actually nobody knows he has that because Michael sure as hell won't tell you he does even if he really obviously did just vanish while you werent looking

to clarify farjump - as long as your villager/familiar isnt ACTIVELY seeing him, he can teleport. for instance! if you have your back to him he can tp (assuming nobody else is in the room looking)
this does include blinking. unlikely to happen in practice but horrifying as a possibility
magic sight (i.e. something like seeing him through a wall) DOES count as seeing him, and he can't tp - however, something such as just sensing his presence doesn't
Peripherals Are A Grey Area And Very Situational. This Is The Closest You Will Get To Actually Seeing Him Do It Without Mechanical Help
arguably you could slap him in front of a mirror and since he's technically looking at himself he would have incredible difficulty tp'ing out of it

outside of farjump or being carried around he can only really move by flopping around his head and tail a little bit. which is difficult when you are mounted and also cant easily direct where you are going

goldy doesnt call him their horrible son. thats just me. he's MY horrible son and mine alone. because its really funny to call him "michael my horrible son" like its a title. do you understand me
