Now I present, Athena casting a random spell...P.S. Those runes mean Void Lightning...
I just did this a day ago... actually... it took me three days to finish this beautifully made artwork. It's soft, the lighting is fine, there are a few noticeable effects.
I did this through outlining with color using the linework layers... why I didn't use the good old scan and put colors in the first place? It's because it's too hassle to manually recolor the black lines. Damn, that kind of work is too long and confusing.
After that... colors, well duh... but the effects and shaders are the challenging part. Getting the lights and shadows is... a bit hard.
As for BG... I was thinking to draw a BG of a cityscape but I was like, SCREW IT... I HAVE NO TIME!! After that, I rushed going to the third floor of our house with my phone and took a picture of my urban neighborhood and then edited it like no tomorrow so that I could fit it here... only to change the lighting into Athena from white to light blue.
By the time I was finished, I edited this once more in PdN (Paint.Net) and made it my Desktop BG... but here is the original picture, I may post my Desktop version later.
On the other note, I found a notebook with my own rune alphabet... and decided to put it there.
