If you saw my new pinup wallpaper featuringΒ Pennrose and Charlotte IN SPAAAAACE , this is the inspiration!Since I haven't upgraded my personal system in many years, I spent a lot of time researching to catch up on current hardware, and just as much time trying to get said hardware due to the current market conditions...
As such, I was pretty hyped to finally get everything together, but I got even more hyped when I transferred the guts of my old system to a new, budget case, which, with its two-toned black and white, turned out to look far more awesome than my 11-year old Corsair 650D that I was planning on putting the new guts in.
Because I wanted this upgrade to look as good as its performance would be, I did a major overhaul to my old case including cutting a new windowed side-panel, and painting the chassis white.
I don't usually post photos on FA, but since this was both a mod job and inspiration for an illustration, I figured I'd make an exception.
