To do this, Coeus gathers all useful information by collecting available data on the new species and sieving through databanks to pick out possibly helpful information, Then device an appropriate reaction to the new species. It will repeat this until the aforementioned species are either on friendly terms or eradicated.

A few individuals have raised concerns over happily giving a sentient construct capable of causing extinction unlimited and unregulated access to all the information in the world, but the people at the Experimental Research and Development wing have gotten pretty good at ignoring concerns.
