This really represents the side of Arcanine that earned him the title of "Legendary Pokemon". He isn't officially a legendary, but he was based off of a Chinese guard-dog to the gods, a Shisa. (At least that is my understanding of a shisa anyway... I'll do more research to be more accurate in the future. Chinese mythology is pretty interesting and not much explored for me, so I definitely want to learn more.

Thanks! I actually attempted rendering. Arcanine doesn't have many good renders so I had figure out how to rip the background off of it.Β
