Well, some peoples styles are alik when people first learn, you know? I mean you don't just START OUT awesome do you? When I first started out, I looked at Holleh's stuff all the time because she drew at the Oekaki that I was learning at. Guess what happened? Since I drew a horse people ragged on me for copying her style, and only ONE person stood up for me. I don't think I was copying her style at all, I was simply learning from a better artist. It happens, and I changed my style through the years. Rixi IS original, and she even said she's changing her style slowly. Now stop ragging on her about it. I kinda doubt its making her feel very good about it. >>

it's only logic that people have to start somewhere. Of course, most artists who don't get beat down on because they stole someone's style are the type who randomly drew what they saw as five year olds, and took it to the computer one day. That's what I did, that's what everyone else I know did, and last time I checked, it's what di Vinci did. Or, is everyone else a talentless dipshit, but she's amazing because she rips off an original artist's style to " start off?" Pfft.

In my opinion, if you need inspiration when just starting off, that's one thing, say, if you copy how you draw a paw or something. But if you rip off original things that pertain to only the creator... that's not inspiration, it's copying. Besides, isn't "Trix" like 13 or something? Most artists BEGIN drawing at the age of 3 or so.

If she didn't want to feel bad then she shouldn't have copied (and continue to!) VK's style. It's just wrong. And, truthfully, lazy. Rock on, original people.

Besides, CCM is right. If she's good enough to draw like VK, then she's damn well good enough to draw with an original style.

P.S.....I'm not here to make people "feel good", I'm here to be honest

Yeah well you don't have to START at being at artist at 3 cause I didn't. I actually only started ot draw at 10 or 11. She may have a style thats 'close' to Vani's style, but it doesn't mean she's not trying to change it. She IS trying to change it, and it takes a while to, not overnight, buddy. The only thing is, Vani doesn't 'own' the style is all I have to say. And people learn off her cause she's so great, there are tons of people using parts of her style, maybe more. And I think you should just leave them the fuck alone, so they can do what, they know they have to do anyway. Just shut up, and leave Trixity alone.

Actually, if you knew any facts at all whatsoever, you would know what Vani posted in one of her journals about how sick she was getting of people taking on certian features of her style. If she's so sick of it, then why ket Trix get away with it? Is that right? No, it's not. So if you don't know what you're talking about, then don't talk at all.

Yes, we all saw that journal, but do you know Trixity and Vani are FRIENDS? Welll... hmm. And if it bothered Vani so much that Trixity had parts of her style in there, I would think Vani would SAY something to Trixity about it. You know?

Actually, I do know what I'm talking about, and FYI, I DID Know they were friends. So does that make copying her style right? Does that make it ok? Wow! I wasn't aware that it did! Well, how about I just go and copy all of MY friend's styles! Since I'm their friend, that makes it ok

No, it doesn't make it right. But Vani is already well aware of any style discrepencies here, and Rixi has TOLD Vani about her efforts to change her style. If you've been keeping track of Rixi's art at all, you'd plainly see that there are definite unique differences between the two's styles. So cut the double-edged tongue act, kid, you're getting on everyone's nerves here and have already been reported.

And I swear, if I ever find your main account here on dA (I'd say it's more than a little obvious you created this account to keep your main account safe while you freely insult whoever you want), I'm going to find a way to report it too. I do NOT tolerate people like you harassing my friends.
