That would be an awesome way to end the series. Almost like how Zero sacrificed himself to stop Final Weil and Space Colony Ragnarok in Megaman Zero 4 (which BTW was an amazing ending too)!
I certainly hope that this is the ending of the series. If not some sort of epic Last Boss Fight of some sort.
