Ethan Bennett. One of Bruce Wayne’s oldest friends. He is a Detective working in the GCPD’s Major Crimes Unit, until one day he got on the wrong side of the Joker, who decided to make an example of the detective. The Joker used the same chemical that turned Basil Karlo into Clayface on Bennett. The chemical reacted differently with Bennett than it did with Karlo, transforming him into a deadlier version of Clayface. The transformation corrupted Bennett’s mind, and in an act of violence, he murdered the original Clayface.
