Description
well... here it is, the colored version of this piece. It's been specially hard (and interesting) to understand the influence of the blue lights to the skin.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did working on it ^^

Sadly I can't. I tried a lot, but I failed every time. I stick with simply drawing, I guess.
(Lot more things to improve on that too.

It' easier than what you think, I'm not a master, but I can teach you ^^
Tell me something, do you practice traditional painting?
I mean, I think that before using digital tools, you must know how does the color, the light, the anatomy, and all that stuff, and then apply it on digital works.

Ummm, To tell you the truth, I never, and I mean never in my life was even near an art school. All I know I learned by myself, without any teacher, besides the very scarce drawing lessons in elementary school.
So I think the answer is no, I never painted, only when it was necessary, and I never excelled at it.
I'm a bit better with graphite pencil, but I suck at shading. -_-;;; And because I had a long time when I couldn't draw, I forgot a lot of things, like anatomy, or even the basest things. I'm only good with faces and expressions. (In my opinion.
) And I would be glad to learn techniques from you, but only if you have time. ^^ (I - sadly - don't have much lately because of my work.
Tiredness also makes a mark on my artwork...

hey! so you are a hero aren't you? facing danger alone xD
Don't worry aobut it, I was like you.
I did never study arts, (in fact I started in Science, and I finished in Humanities) until this year, now at university.
Art is not a matter of school or academical stuff. It's a matter of effort, work and hunger of knowledge.
Do NEVER forget that
Of course I've time to teach you,
Maybe this sounds to you so.. Naruto's style but... let's makea promise: I'll do my best if you do yours, ok?

No problem.. so you want to draw realistic? It's a very wide topic, there's anatomy, colors and light, composition, value...
If you want to do studies, my advice is don't try to make the best art, try to make a decent one with the right focus.
Say for example you want to study anatomy, you can still design a character, but you should focus on anatomy foremost, anything else is secondary. That way you'll at least be satisfy with the result and learned more, and not be disappointed by other things you haven't. Too much of a time, we artists are too greedy in achieving something, and if we can't achieved it, we get disappointed and worse don't know where to fix. So define your focus in each exercise, and improves the skills one step at a time.
Feel free to ask more.

Ok,thanks!
I'll do my best!
One thing about color, which are the richt steps to follow in order to give a realistic color to your pintures, I mean, I Know how to color as they do in comics, "first layer, multiply; flats and shades".
But, concept art is diferent, I don't know, but it looks like... free of lines, you know what I mean?
I've always wondered how it works...

It's two different approach, why? One fills colors into the lineart, another paints vaguely and then brings the subject clearer. Well, not because of the technique but the mind works and understand things differently for some people. Regardless, both ways are not wrong, check out he uses the first method, but still do great art, or who uses the later method but still create great art.
This is an interesting topic actually, I might write an article explaining the two different workflow and why it's suitable for some people and not others. My advice to you, just try both ways first and see which works for you.
I'll put a note to this, to blog about the topic and tell you when it's done. You'll probably pick an interest to know more.
Ya and do your best!

Yay, you did it, I knew you could do it !
Anatomy is quite right, perspective ok, tattoos looks great, the fire influence on the skin seems correct to me.
Not a masterpiece, but looks damn good to me
Keep up the good work !
