This really doesn't do it for me.

Do you even understand the point in black and white photography? Tone. Texture.

This photo completely lacks everything that makes black and white photos good.

That and it's tonally pretty flat, white isn't white on the histogram etc.

Hmm. I don't like the background at all, and how you cut off his feet. I mean- compared to the space left above his head.
I think this could have been better if the background had been unsharp, or conformable at least.
