Well the model has quite a fine face structure, and his makeup sort of works with that, them flapper-style curl is an extremely pretty element, that cravat is wonderful and the whole outfit works great in black and white, the wall is a bit of a classic backdrop and the shooting star imagery gives it all a rather cool fairytale feel.
I find the fact that he's looking worried a little disconcerting, but that may be beacuse I'm thinking along the lines of "you're supposed to smile in photographs..." around now, which is a deft limitation when createing art I know.
