Since my last upload was totally depressing, I thought I'd come back swinging with some happy and fun fan art.
Ariel and Jim crossover fan art because that's all I ever want to draw anymore now when I do fan art.
Unfortunately the idea had no rhyme or reason behind it--it was literally just a visual I really liked and pursued. I don't know where the two of them could have come from to be falling into the water like that, and to be honest I don't much care. 
Originally I also had it where they were following the laws of physics and falling straight down into the water, but after finishing it, I changed the orientation of the image so it wouldn't look so much like she was trying to drown him. 
Which, to clarify, Ariel would never do! It has a bit more interest this way too. Maybe it's like POTC4, and she's helping him breathe underwater for a little while with this kiss.Water is so much fun to do

It more seems like Ariel is looking for any excuse to kiss Jim. They've just fallen in the water, he's not in need yet of oxygen 
I love the bright colors ! The splash effect and the bubbles are so well done, I can see you had fun doing this

I thought it loooks more like if... he was standing up on a rock, waiting for her, then she jumped out of the water, crushed into a kiss and making him fall in the water (still kissing him... in fact, his arms look like if they're gonna hug her ^^)
It's just an interpretation. Anyway, simply amazing, the poses, the expressions and the color!
