What I can only hope to be fashionably late, I'm very pleased to finally get this drawing up for ~Kagome1313 ! The poor thing has been waiting since December for her Secret Santa picture during the gift exchange at our Disney club #DisneyDreamers , and I was glad to be her Swing Santa when her original one dropped out.
Hopefully this is worth the wait! In her questionnaire, ~Kagome1313 listed Beauty and the Beast as one of her favorite Disney movies, and emphasized that she really liked the princesses and princes. After looking into her gallery and finding some of her own Disney fan art, it looked to me as though she liked really sweet little moments between the princesses and their princes, so I decided I'd do something like that with Belle and Adam. So here's Adam getting a little cuddle in as he barges into Belle's book, curious to see what she's reading this time. Maybe she's reading her favorite book, where the main character discovers he's Prince Charming in chapter three.

Okay, cause I tried to remember if they mentioned it in the movie ( I haven't seen any of the sequels or anything) And I could remember. But Adam is a good name, but it doesn't seem like a French name.

As per why he's called Adam according to wiki it was mentioned in a Disney video game called "The D Show" shortly after the film. I've never played the game in question so can't confirm myself. It's a hard name to try google since He-Man was also Prince Adam lol.

Yes, it was used ONCE decades ago in an obscure CD-ROM game, and never since. It's never been used by Disney Animation, or any other official Disney properties like the films, the theater production, the theme parks, merchandise, etc. etc. Fans just picked it up for some reason and spread it around, but the character does NOT have an official name. For some reason this is a pet peeve of mine, ha ha.
