I won't lie, I suck at drawing robots and machinery of any kind. It has always been a major weakness for me. I know you said not to worry about a background or colour. But I have a tendency not to listen, so I added both (not so much a background) anyway.
No critiques, please.

Ok well the main parts I would talk about would be the position of the feet. The perspective looks... Off. The left foot looks closer than the right one. And the right arm looks a bit disconnected from the main body like its almost floating. Other than that it looks pretty good.

But in my defence, the picture is nine years old and the person whom it was intended for liked it just fine.

Rouge isn't interested in the whole freedom thing; she's just looking to make a profit. A robotic body would definitely come in handy for her.

Now in a robotic body, Rouge would probably also be more of a threat; I suppose she's carrying weaponized mining equipment in this form.

I believe you did a marvelous job here, Bruce. I don't really draw robots because I'm honestly not the biggest fan of drawing villians.
Even so, because of this, I believe I should start practicing robots as well as humans. Villians? That as well.

I have no luck with mecha o.o; literally. I mean I can make it up on the spot, but if I have to work from reference it kills me XD I'm kinda procrastination drawing metal sonic and mecha knuckles. I wanna draw metal scourge but I can't get my head round it @o@ I fail at mecha XD honestly! I can't even draw guns and I kinda really want to, lol I'm no good with straight lines O.o only curves. LOL I even have trouble drawing guys cos've straight lines XDDD *hides*

Well curves are nice, but remember, just because its a robot, doesn't mean it has to consist of straight lines and edges alone! After all, Metal Sonic is rounded in most areas, so I doubt, given the quality of the work in your gallery, that you'd have any trouble at all making him

I can't seem to grasp the concept of "it doesn't have to make sense cos it's just a drawing" when it comes to mecha XD;; I dunno why, like for joints, I always seem to want to to do springy like things that look like vaccum(*sp) pipes O.o see? I'm so crap at mecha I dun even know what it's called XDD lol I can colour it fine and everything, it's just getting my head around design XD I look at a mecha and I'm looking at some kinda complex blueprint! @~@ LOL.
I just love how you did Rouge though XD the arms kinda remind me of portal o.o the turrets. so cool XDD!

I'm always touchy about drawing robotics and stuff too. I feel like I'm never doing it right but it usually comes out okay, you seem to be the same way! I think it came out just fine.
