Description
I was commissioned by an Italian restaurant to paint something portraying "Classical Indian dance but also showing movement yet there is none." I walked out scratching my head but I eventually got an idea and this is the result. They also wanted a lot of detail so I took a couple of weeks to do this, they were pleased and for once I was as well. I feel the need to share it with the worldRelated content

Out of curiosity, is there a reason for the wedding attire?

this is not wedding attire, wedding attire is usually more extensive and includes a nose pin connected to the earring. she is actually just wearing a typical dress that would be for special occasions, such as a party or, it this case, a dance performance.

When I saw the picture I assumed it was photo and was going to comment on what a great photo it was, the fiery colours, how you captured the motion, the woman caught up in the enjoyment of her dance, but then I read your description and learnt it was a painting... well... what can I say, this is most certainly a daily deviation well deserved.
