Mass effect was not the first to use the likeness of a camera for a head. It's actually quite a common thing with robotic designs. But mass effect did a great job with it.

No, ME was not the first with a-cam-in-the-head design, but thats just one small detail that makes this look like a Geth.

hahaha i like when a 20 years old guy teach me "what is common in sci fi"... (BTW i'm 40 and i know M.E was not "the first"... but it's not the point. This particular picture instantly made me think of Geth Rocket trooper img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20… ) which is not a bad thing. This one is even better! )

I wasn't trying to be rude and I wasn't trying to lecture you on "what is common in sci fi". I was just trying to defend the artist. I thought you were blaming him for stealing the design from M.E., as I did't check your profile to see how long you've been around.
Everything that is part of the sci fi culture is open for everyone to see, study and enjoy, so don't dismiss my knowledge of it based on my age or my empty gallery. And I agree, he did a great job!
