Sherlock as the oddball alchemy-obsessed child of a powerful family of wizards; his brother, Mycroft, is rumored to control the weather of Lowonidon (the capital city of the Queendom of Albion), and John as a knight, fallen in battle, returned home from a faraway land called Pashtun. He's just killed a mule driver with an enchanted sword he isn't actually still supposed to have.
Instead of a cell phones the people of Albion use magical crystals to communicate. John's is an expensive one from his drunken wench of a sister.
... I really need to stop. I'm never going to finish writing that fanfiction so what am I doing drawing these AUs...?

I just read all four chapters PLUS "Turning 'Round the Corner," and I'm going to call you out: You are a very talented artist AND writer. Seriously. I especially love ch. 2 "Duality, Normalcy." The phrasing and parallelism there is so poignant. I'd quote my favourite part, but I don't have one! XD What I especially love about it is that the chapter could be a perfectly wonderful one-shot as well as part of a series.
Please do write/post more! I'm sure I'm not the only person who'd love reading it! I'm sure people would go to the link if you put it at the bottom of this piece. Don't keep the beauty from the people, especially in light of post-Reichenbach!

OTL OTL OTL I'm a huge parallelism fanatic, so most of what I write tends to have some sort of mirroring... I honestly think you might be overestimating me, kind stranger.
But your words have given me courage (somewhat)! If you know of a very fast beta who's willing to go over some very clunky chapters of my newest Sherlock fic (it's a Toy Story AU), or if you'd be willing to volunteer yourself, I'd be very grateful.
