Sherlock as the oddball alchemy-obsessed child of a powerful family of wizards; his brother, Mycroft, is rumored to control the weather of Lowonidon (the capital city of the Queendom of Albion), and John as a knight, fallen in battle, returned home from a faraway land called Pashtun. He's just killed a mule driver with an enchanted sword he isn't actually still supposed to have.
Instead of a cell phones the people of Albion use magical crystals to communicate. John's is an expensive one from his drunken wench of a sister.
... I really need to stop. I'm never going to finish writing that fanfiction so what am I doing drawing these AUs...?

I know this isn't what you intended, but for a single moment I saw Merlin the Great and King Aurthur from Merlin (BBC) The king as risen once again! *shot down* okay, okay- sorry about that. Funny thing is; I also came up with a similar concept, to open a fanfiction. But I wasn't clever enough to some up with using magical crystals in place of cell-phones. That's clever.

I am in love with this. It combines the two of my biggest current obsessions (Sherlock & that kind of LotR-ish, Circle of Magic-ish, general-high-fantasy-ish fantasy) into one awesome... thingamajig. (You can tell that my brain's really functioning in the vocabulary department today.)
I absolutely love the designs, too. Sherlock is wonderfully glow-y.
