Archie Sonic is not canon. Video Game Sonic is canon.
Speed:
Sonic- 2.5x speed of light in Super form
Goku- Broke the light barrier when he was 12 and only gets faster in Super Saiyan
Durability:
Sonic- Invincible in Super form but only lasts for a couple minutes
Goku- Tanked hits that could blow up entire planets and on the higher end solar systems
Strength:
Sonic- Capable of spin dashing through gold and with enough power, diamond
Goku- Punched a hole through a planet 3.5x denser than a white dwarf star
Basically what I'm saying is, all Goku would have to do is outlast Super Sonic and the fight is his to win. And have you seen the beatings Goku has taken? His will to go on is what will give him this fight.

(also I am using DBZ goku and Game sonic so no Super/Gt for goku or Archie for sonic)

Goku: can't be consistence above the speed of light until ssj 3 because all other instantes before SSJ Gotenks (who is an equal to ssj3 goku) were short lived and contradict later events.
Durability:Β
Sonic: is in his base durabel enough to take solar system level attacks (seen the final fight of sonic battle against Ultiemerl with did have to power to destroy multibel stars at ones) and is invincible in his super form with last for days (as seen in the end of sonic advance 1)
Goku: around solar system durability in his SSJ2 and this times 4 in his ssj3 form.
Strength:
Sonic: In base able to damaged Ultiemerl with had Β the combined durability of all characters in the game including sonic and shadows with both have in there base survived re-entrance into earth atmosphere in his super form capable to damage the body of the omnipresent time and sun god Solaris putting his power by the time or reaching 06 at Multiverse (Solars eats dimensions for lunch according to Eggman)(with 3 the world rings near limitless realty warping powers and with Excalibur deflection of magic and the ability to cut through anything)
Goku: While the infames 40 tone feat doesn't speak for goku (even with the multiplication of 400 to 1600 tones + 10 earth gravity with would put it on 16000 tones (fun fact base classic tails can lift 10 tones with no problem)) I am nice and just take your feat from Battle of Gods.
So goku would have a rather hard time trying to out least Sonic given that he can keep his form for day's and do even hope to not get obliterated by sonic first would he need SSJ 3 because SSJ 2 is barley above sonic's base form in raw power and Durability (and its still slower then sonic)

Not only Archie is canon, but your analysis on Game Sonic? is entirely wrong. That aside, why would you use a video game incarnation to compete against a comic incarnation? Makes no sense. Because that's where they first started? Okay? And so whatever they do within that realm no matter how stupid and bizarre or how many unrelated incarnations they take automatically holds more water? Alright... Again, makes no sense. What we should be saying is a specific incarnation of Game Sonic vs Manga Goku.
Or Archie Sonic vs Game Goku or something else.

It's dumb as fuck to compare a video game character like Sonic to anyone from a comic or the like considering that Sonic is a game that must be PLAYED and PLAYABLE and exists to be played. It's not just some free work that some guy can write whatever he wants into cause all you gotta do is look at it. That's why people compare Archie Sonic to others in this realm. Because it's the only legitimate comparison you can really make.

Sonic Has his Super form For Β only a minute(Time increases the more rings you collect).
Goku has super saiyan for A week or two(a year in the hyperbolic time chamber).
Also,The more damage sonic takes the more rings he loses.
