Goku has 4 transformations that makes him stronger in each transformation and Sonic only has 1 transformation

Goku will win because sonic only has 1 transformation even though he has speed and he has a move that can shatter any defense or offense . Goku has 4 transformations that gives him more strength , speed and each transformation that goku has , can get stronger and his 3rd and 4th transformations are deadly

Dude, I've always been a big fan of your art. When you draw DBZ characters, it looks so good it looks like they were drawn like Akira Toriyama himself. And when you draw Sonic an co., your personal style makes them look like they would fit in DBZ and honestly, I almost wonder why Archie hasn't hired you, since you do seem to be a fan of the Archie Sonic comics (I see art of characters from it that you've drawn, so that's why I'm assuming you might be, please correct me if I'm wrong). Please keep up the good work, and never stop drawing.

Super Sonic would lose. Even if the Emeralds did make Sonic invincible (which it may just be that they don't make you invincible but are just naturally the strongest sources of power alongside other things in the Sonic-verse) they would only last so long until Sonic runs out of rings. They don't really do much for Sonic when it comes to physical power as compared to making him faster and more durable. And if they don't really make you "invincible" enough to survive an attack strong enough to destroy a planet then he may as well call it quits before Goku decides to use more power.

Sonic no longer requires rings? That isn't how generations did it. He so far in all his games requires them to maintain his Super form. They are far from equal. Sonic could never really match Goku in raw power. Even in early Dragon Ball Master Roshi could destroy the moon. With a power level of 136.

His Super Form is usually considered his strongest form aside from Hyper. However raw power-wise Hyper is not that different. But it does make him faster. And collecting rings doesn't make him stronger it only keeps him at his Super form and his raw power doesn't really change much.

The only way for Sonic to tire him out is if he can survive Goku's humongous attacks. And Goku can sense energy. He has instant transmission which is equivalent to the speed of light (186,000 miles per second) So Sonic would not be able to actually keep up. Goku has huge amounts of energy. And Super Saiyan is a 50 times multiplier to his base level. Even if Super form gave him invincibility it wouldn't work since it drains him of his rings.

So far nothing in Sonic has been seen to have destroyed the planet outright with only a fraction of it's power. Dark Gaia only broke it apart but not outright erase the planet of the face of the physical plane. Goku has proven stronger than opponents of said level like Frieza. So no. Sonic hasn't survived worse because none of his enemies can do that. And so far he has not been shown to move at light speed. He has moved faster than sound but that is nothing to instant transmission which is light speed. It allows Goku to be anywhere in the universe. He can move from the farthest side of the universe to the other side in a only a matter of moments if not 10-20 seconds at least.

His light spped dash is called that just for dramatic effect on name. It doesn't actually make him move faster than light. It only makes him follow trails of rings that he happens to find. And the light speed attack only attacks the enemies in rapid succession. It doesn't actually take light speed to do that. The speed of sound alone can allow something of equal mass to said opponents to actually plow through lines of enemies like that. So the light speed attack is just being called that for exaggeration of the actual speed. Goku could probably attack just as many enemies on his own without being at full power let alone being Super Saiyan.
