Vegeta is pretty much as strong as Goku. And Shadow can be considered better than Sonic but it is mostly considered equal when comparing Shadow vs Sonic. As for a team up, if Goku can provide Sonic with an infinite source of rings (and if Sonic really is invincible) then yes. They can be called unstoppable. Goku would have the raw power to handle most opponents and Sonic could survive anything (if he is invincible in his super and hyper forms). The infinite rings thing would make sure of that.

by the way did you know that shadow is immortal and would you say the shadow's chaos control is equal to goku's instant transmission

Immortality doesn't make someone stronger. It only makes it impossible to kill them. But I have heard that it is more like eternally young. Because when Shadow fell to earth in SA2 he didn't survive on his own power. He was rescued by one of Eggman's androids. So if he could survive anything then there would have been no point in Eggman rescuing him. As for Chaos Control, if there is no limit to Chaos Control's distance then yes. But apparently the games seem to state against that idea. Since in Shadow The Hedgehog it only takes you so far. If he used it it with a new power augmentation that allowed for major power boosts then yeah it could be. But Goku can basically be anywhere in a flash with hia IT. Without Super form the Chaos Control is like a really watered down version of IT when it comes to being a speed enhancer. When in Super it comes closer than when not in Super. It is still hard to say though.

i know immortality doesnt make you stronger i agree with what you said about SA2 but i think its cause he had passed out and he may not have been used to his super form like sonic was and he may not have fully mastered his chaos powers at the time i guess
