I passed through Waterville recently, I may have seen this. It's amazing that many of these are still standing. Spring is finally arriving, and with it perhaps a little less rain, more outdoor adventure time.

You may have seen this one, but you would have to exit US-2 to the Baseline Road. More likely it was this windmill you saw..... fav.me/db2bk3j That one is along the highway just before you get to Waterville.
It is amazing how many abandoned homesteads and barns and windmills are still standing. But this is the dry side of the state and once the snow is gone there is little moisture to speed up the rot and decay.
In this photo you can see in the background (left) the red brick and white roof of the Douglas County Courthouse in Waterville.
