Hi, can I ask what you use for the inking process? (Technical pens, dip pen with ink, markers or else??!) and, what do you use blue pencils at step 2 for?

Hi, for this I used a pen with ink (for portraits I use uni pin marker)
And first and second aren't same paper, blue pencil it's for inking easier.

Well I don't think, I dried my markers and don't want to buy more... but in fact the steps are the same as with watercolor.

I was wondering what ink you use? I usually end up painting over pencils and then inking, but I'd love to ink first instead.

I use kuretake ink, but there are others that can be used to ink before painting, just has to be waterproof.

I always wanted to pick up watercolors, but the last time I tried...
THE PAPER TORE! And I ruined the drawing I spent time sketching out and inking because I guess I wasn't patient enough...
Now watercolor scares me.
