Well, Fluttershy and Twilight have also found out about the whole, "Only 13 Episodes" thing. And now they have one question..."But, why?". I wish I had the Answer, but I do not. So enjoy some Adorable ponys while you contemplate. ^^Please comment and Enjoy!
P.S. Save yourself the time about commenting on Twilight's or Fluttershy's tail (especially Twilight's) They are both as they should be.

Honestly, it is very good. However, Twilight's front hooves are not properly placed. They should be further in front of her back hooves. So, I suggest re-doing that part.
Plus, Fluttershy's back right hoof is a little weird for my taste. I don't know why, but the way it is angled seems that it shouldn't be that far in and out.
Also, Twilight's back side is too big. So, change that.
Other than that, I give you props for the beautiful expressions and clarity. The expressions are similar to several episodes, but still good.

I hear that Hasbro wanted to shorten the season b/c they find that they can make economical success if they were to shorten a good show like My Little Pony, season wise and airing some reruns to increase the profit.

Didn't they say that season length would vary now? There's a chance we'll get another 26-ep season later, or even a whole year's worth of episodes using the same storyline. As for the 'why': because they think it's better. The show keeps doing new stuff, like using a monster instead of a villain, plot-wise, and not using Spielberg's monster rule for just that one when they've been doing it for the rest. Not everyone appreciates it, but it's new. They've also been making Pinkie Pie a little more dramatic, which again not everyone appreciates (seriously, can we as a fandom just agree that having Pinkie in the shot does not mean it needs to be funny?), but at least there's innovation. More than likely, they can get more and better stories out of this structure. This season's been all about blurring the whole 'good vs evil' thing, which to me seems to indicate Twilight turns evil in the finale, or Celestia. Then again, the writers know how to pull at our strings, so I'm probably just seeing things.
Or they're going to pull a Naruto on us and start Season 4 after a timeskip with Twilight as the alicorn princess and Skyla and Apple Bud (or whatshername, the other doll) as main characters.
The pic looks good, the emotions are a bit dampened, but then it's not a dramatic piece. I'm not sure if the gradients in the eyes worked out as well as they should have, though. Might just be me. Good piece, overall.

No problem. Incidentally, if they do pull a timeskip, I do hope we get to see more unicorn colts. Have you noticed how there's just Snips, Snails and that carrier kid from 'Sweet and Elite'? Pretty much all unicorn colts have to be OC's or foal versions of existing ones. And with all the ruckus about black and red OC's, the show managed to get a black and yellow stallion in and no one even mentions it. (Midnight Strike, he's on the wiki). The show makers and the execs know what they're doing, and Faust's original vision was nothing like what we got in the first place, so deviating from that isn't a bad thing.
What I'm trying to say is: there's still room for more characters to be added, and there's segments to the market that aren't addressed yet. So it's unlikely that it'll just end or even lose quality.

Its sad that this season is shorter, but think of the bright side! In the future we will probably have seasons longer then 26 episodes (since they are changing the sizes).
